English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a  Private School in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting ASAP or February 2024.

About the school

This school was established in 2004. lt is one of the earliest schools in Bejing to be qualified to recruit foreign students. In the past decade, nearly 700 foreign students from more than 10 countries have studied in this school. Foreign students work with a good reputation for quality educational outcomes.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to middle school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Approx. 25 teaching periods a week, no office hours

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Annual salary range of 260,000 to 300,000 RMB and is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
