We are looking for an English Literature Teacher for a Bilingual High School in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in February 2024.

 

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Teach English Literature classes based on IGCSE/A Level curriculum to high school students
  • Plan and prepare learning activities and guide students towards the achievement of curriculum objectives
  • Evaluate each student's performance on a continual basis
  • Communicate with staff and parents on students' progress
  • Ensure the required standards of classroom management and student behavior are met
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in English or other related majors
  • At least 2 years’ English teaching experience at high schools
  • Familiar with IGCSE and A-level
  • Excellent English communicative skills
