English Literature Teacher

We are looking for a full time English Literature Teacher for an international school based in Beijing.

You’ll be responsible to teach 5 academic subjects content classes (4 per day) and supervise activity classes. Classes content includes various subjects such as General and Honors English 9, General and Honors English 10, American Literature, World Literature, Speech, Journalism, Drama, Creative Writing, Geography, General and Honors US History, General and Honors World History, various AP courses more!

Responsibilities include

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons and activities from approved course outlines and group planning sessions.
• Organize the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning climate that motivates students to learn.
• Use approaches that are appropriate to student needs and interests.
• Use a variety of assessment approaches and processes to improve student learning.
• Provide timely feedback to students, parents and colleagues on student progress and maintain a positive professional relationship with the parents.
• Participate and assist in programs that promote the school curriculum, development, and implementation
• Undertake or participate in school events, activities, and other assignments when required.
• Work collaboratively with others to plan and coordinate work.

Requirement

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• 2 years working experience
• Bachelor ‘s degree or above
• Currently in China
• Able to begin working within 2 weeks
