English Language and Composition Teacher

We are looking for an AP English Language & Composition Teacher for a High School based in Hefei. The successful candidate will commence their role in the upcoming academic year, beginning in August 2023.

Job details

• Deliver instruction in AP English Language & Composition to high school students.
• Develop comprehensive teaching plans aligned with curricular requirements, and evaluate and grade homework assignments accordingly
• Design and administer assessments such as tests, quizzes, and other evaluations to gauge student progress
• Timely reporting of student performance to track their academic development
• Offer necessary guidance and support to both students and parents as required
• Coordinate and oversee various student activities to enhance their learning experience
• Provide mentorship and supervision for independent research projects undertaken by students

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant major
• Relevant subject majors or teaching credentials preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience
• Hold a Teaching Credential
• Strong knowledge of AP curriculum
