Elementary School Teacher

We are looking an Elementary School (G1-G5) Teacher for an international school located in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August, 2023.

Job Description

• Prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
• Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development Research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
• Prepare pupils for external examinations
• Manage pupil be haviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
• Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties

Job Requirements

• More than two years of relevant experience
• Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject
• A teaching license recognized by home country’s education ministry
• IB PYP / IPC transdisciplinary approach to inquiry
• English language teaching related certifications from credible awarding bodies
• IB / IPC / Cambridge related workshops for teachers
• Homeroom teacher experience

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: 22,000 – 30,000 RMB per month after tax (negotiable upon certificates and teaching experience)
