We are looking a Primary School  (G1-G5) Teacher for an international school located in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2024.

The international school located in the Shunyi District of Beijing provides primary, middle, and high school education programs that combine Eastern and Western educational philosophies. The school follows a small class teaching approach and ensures a comprehensive and equitable learning experience for its students, enabling them to gain admission to top universities worldwide.


Job Description

      • Prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
      • Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development Research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
      • Prepare pupils for external examinations
      • Manage pupil be haviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
      • Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties

       

      Job Requirements

      • More than two years of relevant experience
      • Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject
      • A teaching license recognized by home country’s education ministry
      • IB PYP / IPC transdisciplinary approach to inquiry
      • English language teaching related certifications from credible awarding bodies
      • IB / IPC / Cambridge related workshops for teachers
      • Homeroom teacher experience

      Salary & Benefits

      • Salary: 22,000 – 30,000 RMB per month after tax (negotiable upon certificates and teaching experience)
