Economics Teacher

We are looking for an Economics Teacher for an international school based in Yantai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

The school has Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary divisions with outstanding educational results in IGCSE and the A Level programmes, where their graduates go on to study and top universities across the world.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach the subject of Economics to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate and familiarity with IGCSE and A-level
• Two or more years of teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB with experience and qualifications
