Economics Teacher

We are looking for a Bilingual Economics Teacher for an international school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from February 2023.

About the school

This school is situated in Fengxian district, Shanghai. It is well-equipped with a great number of classrooms and multi-purpose class rooms, a huge lecture theatre that can seat up to 800 people, an indoor sports hall, and a swimming pool. It has both middle school and high school divisions, and provides IGCSE, A level, and AP courses for those pupils who are aiming to study overseas.

Job details

• Teach the school’s economics courses to middle and high school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• TEFL, CELTA or TESOL certificate
• Teacher’s license preferred
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an international school
• Fluent in both English and Chinese

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 15,000 to 22,000 RMB
