Economics Teacher

We are looking for an Economics Teacher for an International School based in Foshan. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of economics to secondary education students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics or related majors, with master’s or higher
• Professional teaching certifications such as PGCE or teaching license in the subject;
• A minimum of three years experience in international schools
• Experience of teaching in IGCSE and  A-level
• Experience of working with enthusiastic and motivated students aged 15 to 17

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly 3,000 RMB house and transportation allowance if live off campus or Free on-campus modern apartment with all necessary furniture
