We are looking for an Economics Teacher for an International School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from August 2023.

 

Job details

  • Teach the school’s Economics curriculum to high school students
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in economics or finance preferred
  • At least 2 years’ teaching experience in A-level economics
  • Excellent English communicative skills

 

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary of 21,000 to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance of 2,000 RMB
