Economics&Business Teacher

We are looking for an Economics&Business Teacher for an International School based in Foshan. This is a full-time position starting in February 2025.

About the school

Foshan's first international-based secondary school was founded in 2016. It's located on a quiet green campus in the Nanhai District of Foshan in Southern China and 2 bus stops away from Guangzhou South Railway station. From there, you can travel all over China by high-speed rail. Hong Kong can be reached in less than one hour by high-speed train from the railway station. The school offers British IGCSE/A-Level, as well as American Advanced Placement

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of economics and business to secondary education students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics or related majors, with master’s or higher
• Professional teaching certifications such as PGCE or teaching license in the subject;
• A minimum of three years experience in international schools
• Experience of teaching in IGCSE and  A-level
• Experience of working with enthusiastic and motivated students aged 15 to 17

Salary and Benefits

• Anural salary of 300,000 to 360,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly 3,000 RMB house and transportation allowance if live off campus or Free on-campus modern apartment with all necessary furniture
• Flight Allowance of 9,500 RMB per year
