Drama Teacher

We are looking for a Drama Teacher for an International High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

An international boarding school in Pudong, Shanghai which provides educational courses based on the British curriculum for high school students. This school offers an intensive and rigorous learning environment to prepare the students for universities all over the world both academically and socially.

Job details

• Teach the school’s music and drama subjects to high school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in the relevant subject of teaching
• At least 2 years’ related teaching experience at international school
• IGCSE and A Level experience essential
• Teaching certificate
• Previous experience teaching Chinese/EAL students an advantage

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
