Computer Science Teacher

We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher for an International High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in February 2025.

The International High School situated in Songjiang, Shanghai focuses on giving its pupils a broad international curriculum, comprising IGCSE, A Level, IB, and AP, to prepare them to succeed in universities throughout the world. The independent campus of the school is equipped with a variety of facilities, such as an internal and external basketball court, race track, laboratories, libraries, Chinese and Western eateries, and other hardware amenities, offering plenty of space, serenity, and beauty for learning.

Job details

• Teach the school’s computer science subject to high school students aging from 15 to 18 years old
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in teaching
• Hold a teaching certificate
• Familiar with the A-Level curriculum is a plus
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary 28,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
