Computer Science Teacher

We are seeking a Computer Science Teacher for an international school based in Kunshan, Jiangsu province. This is a full-time position starting in February 2025.

About the School

This school was founded in 2012, initially offering the world-class Ontario (Canada) curriculum. Over the years, it has established strong roots in Kunshan and evolved into a fully authorized IB Continuum School, providing the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes for students aged 3 to 18. This growth has fostered a diverse community of over 300 students from 24 nationalities, supported by a team of passionate educators, skilled administrators, and dedicated operational staff.

Job responsibilities 

• Teach the subject of Computer Science to secondary school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
