We are looking for a College English Teacher in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting in February or September 2025.

About the school
It is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and founded by a leading university in China, which is also a key provincial-level university and a high-level construction university in Jiangsu Province.

Job responsibilities
  • Teach the subjects of English, British Culture and Society to English-major students and Tourism English, Business English to non-English-major students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments
  • 14 classes per week 

Job requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in higher education
  • Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits
  • Monthly Salary is range of 12,000 to 13,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
