Chemistry Teacher

We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher for an International School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025.

Initially established as an Elementary School, it has since evolved into a comprehensive K-12 institution, incorporating kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school departments. Situated in the Tongzhou District of northern Beijing, the school boasts a strategically chosen campus location. The school combines the Chinese compulsory curriculum with leading international educational concepts and methodologies, providing a well-balanced program.

Job details

• Deliver chemistry courses to high school students utilizing the IB DP frame
• Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach and collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance school-based curriculum
• Support the program coordinators in the maintenance of an accurate inventory of educational resources
• Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching and learning methodologies to accommodate differing learning styles
• Asses and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in education or related field
• Relevant teaching experience
• Holding a teaching certificate
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary is above 30,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance range from 4,000 to 9,000 RMB
