We are looking for a Campus Manager for a Hospitality and
Tourism Vocational College (international department) based in Hangzhou. This
is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.
About the role
The campus manager is accountable for assisting to achieve its objectives by managing business development and the delivery of consultancy services and programs in accordance with the Australian vocational education and training quality Australian Standards for Registered Training Organisations (SRTOs) 2015. The Campus Manager is also responsible to provide leadership and assistance to train Hospitality, Cookery and Tourism consultants in developing teaching resources and assessment tools to support this delivery and for developing and maintaining relationships with partner institutes and industry. Whilst the role is primarily focused on the partner campus, it will also extend to other partner campuses across China.

The primary objectives
- Support the Institute’s Agreements, manage partner
relationships and performance to support the school’s Strategic Plan, achieving
business growth and following the Educational Excellence framework.
- Actively maintain and share current personal knowledge and
skills in vocational industry practice and teaching/ pedagogy with both the
school and local Chinese teaching staff.
- Ensure education excellence strategies are student centric
and focus on the continuous improvement of learning resources, teacher
delivery, process and systems
- Use current networks to find business development opportunities
in China
- Participate in the Institute’s quality system, which is
based on the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 (SRTO)
- Ensure the implementation of the overall Standards and
requirements of the relevant regulatory authorities within the China delivery
teams
- Comply with the legal requirements, expressed through the
Institute policies and procedures, applicable to teaching and assessing
- Actively contribute to the development of operational plans
within the teaching program to achieve Institute strategic goals
- Deliver practical teaching as face to face delivery and the
necessary administrative duties relating to the role of a teacher for up to 12
hours a week
- Comply with the Institute and Public Sector Code of Conduct,
Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Procedures, Child Safe Policy and
Procedures, Diversity, Access and Equity Policy and any other relevant
legislation, policy, procedures or practices.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in either Hospitality, Tourism or relevant any other relevant field of study
- A relevant vocational qualification ideally in either
Hospitality, Tourism, Events or Culinary sectors at the Advanced Diploma level
or possess the ability to upgrade existing qualification
- Relevant industry experience and knowledge in either the
Hospitality, Tourism, Events or Culinary sectors
- A Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Previous experience working in China preferably in the
Vocational Education and Training sector
- Excellent communications skills in English

- Monthly salary of 38,000 to 39,000 RMB before tax
