Biology and Chemistry Subject Teacher

We are looking for Chemistry and Biology subject teachers for an international school in Chongqing. This is a full-time position starting from August 2022.

Job Description:

• Planning and delivering lessons to students aging from 13 to 18.
• Lessons taught including A-level
• Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to students
• Participating in academic meetings, planning and organizing student activities, open classes, festive performance and decoration, co-hosting events or school promotion with other chemistry teachers.
• Taking responsibilities as a coach and judge for school-based competitions, national or international as well. Provide university application interview training/tutoring to students.
• Submitting teaching plans, class observation records, and weekly feedback on students’ class performance etc.
• Preparing demonstrative experiments and homework for students, grading exam papers and producing experiments analysis.
• Working time: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday with 20-22 lessons/week

Job Requirements:

• Excellent English communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Candidate holding a degree in relevant major is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of high school AP/A-Level teaching experience
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Responsible, reliable, punctual, patient and flexible.

Salary and Welfare:

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax
