Bilingual Mathematics Teacher 双语数学老师

We are looking for a Bilingual Mathematics Teacher 双语数学老师 for an international High school in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

Job description

• Be familiar with the international high school AP course system and be responsible for teaching AP mathematics courses
• Be able to formulate scientific teaching plans based on student conditions, teaching requirements and course characteristics, and continuously improve and optimize the quality of teaching and teaching research
• Provide timely feedback to students
• Provide targeted tutoring to students, answer questions and resolve doubts in a timely manner
• Complete Teaching activities within the teaching plan can include minor courses, clubs or activities
  

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or above, overseas academic qualifications and mathematics related majors are preferred
• More than three years of teaching experience in AP Math courses, international school teaching experience is preferred
• English listening, speaking and reading skills , Excellent writing skills, can teach in English
• Always maintain curiosity about teaching and academics and enthusiasm for inquiry and learning
• Love education, love getting along with students, have a sense of responsibility, and be able to positively influence students
• Optimism, Perseverance, willingness to share, unity, lifelong learning, integrity, respect and tolerance for others

• 熟悉国际高中 AP 课程体系，负责 AP 数学课程教学
• 根据学生情况、教学要求和课程特色能制定出科学的教学计划，不断提升和优化教学、 教研质量
• 及时地反馈学生的上课情况，合理地布置、批改学生作业，有效地组织单元测验、期中 和期末考试，并做好成绩记录和总结
• 有针对性地对学生进行辅导，及时答疑解惑
• 完成教学计划内的教学活动，能够开设辅修课或俱乐部或者活动

任职要求

• 统招本科及以上学历，海外学历及数学相关专业优先
• AP 数学课程三年以上教学经验，有国际学校教学经验优先
• 英语听、说、读、写能力优秀，可全英文授课
• 始终保持对于教学和学术的好奇心和探究学习热情
