Bilingual History Teacher 双语历史老师

We are looking for a Bilingual History Teacher 双语历史老师 for an international middle school based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

About the school

The school is a private international language school which located in Guangzhou; it consists of primary, middle, American high school program, IEP program and a Korean department.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of history to middle school students utilizing the MYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate and familiar with MYP
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent English and Mandarin communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 13,000 to 20,000 RMB RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
