Art Teacher

We are looking for an Art Teacher for an International School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.

Job details

• Teach the school’s Art curriculum to school students aging 6-18
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Work schedule: 20-25 teaching hours per week
• Class size: maximum 20, usually 10-15

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher
• English as working language
• Eligible for work visa 
• Teaching experience on music or drama with good integration of English language development and evidence of teaching success required
• Preferred team orientation and capability of organize arts activities or performance which supports a wide-range of students and interests

Salary and benefits

• 22-28K RMB per month(before tax)
