Application Engineer

An American company is looking for an Application Engineer in Chengdu.

This position is the key interface between sales and engineering. Any technical questions arise from the sales team will be directed to this position. This person will specialize in a specific application of the WHG and become the resident expert on that subject. When a new application enquiry comes in, the application engineer will review the criteria, select the appropriate standard equipment, and prepare the technical side of the proposal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to understand a client’s existing system and develop a conceptual mechanical design on how to integrate a WHG into it
• Engineer and specify mechanical systems associated with the WHG
• Communicate the design to clients and associates
• The person will work with the CEO, and will be trained by him

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on the thermal sciences
• 2-3 years’ experience in the design and engineering of energy transfer systems
• Background of Waste Heat Generation/Mechanical System/ Thermodynamics/ Heat Transfer
• Must be proficient in English
