Academic Principal (UK Programme)

The Position

The Academic Principal must fully and completely commit to the school’s philosophy, vision and mission. As the Academic Principal you will contribute to school’s drive for excellence in education and school development and to take charge of the school’s UK programme teaching and education management to promote the success of all students.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive the development, articulation and implementation of the vision of teaching and learning in order to raise student achievement.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the School by ensuring management of the organization, operations and resources for a safe, efficient and effective learning environment.
• Overall responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning with an emphasis on strengthening the role of English as the medium of instruction across school and the development of active learning.
• Oversee responsibility for the implementation of the education programme developing the curriculum offer to meet the needs of students
• Accountable for implementing school’s policies with the utmost commitment and diligence.
• Act with professionalism, integrity, fairness and in an ethical manner providing a role model for the school community.
• Be responsible for all activities relating to the successful transition of students to Higher Education.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in education from English Speaking country university
• Professional teaching qualification such as a PGCE.
• At least 10 years of classroom teaching experience
• At least 3 years’ middle-senior administrative experiences in secondary schools

Salary

• 500,000 – 700,000 RMB/ Annual
