Middle School English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a Bilingual School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from February 2024.

Job details

• Teach the school’s English curriculum to middle school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Work schedule: a maximum of twenty-one teaching periods, 35-40 minutes per session, plus supervising four morning reading sessions (15 minutes each), teaching one after school club and one evening study supervision session per week, and acting as a homeroom teacher of a class in need as well
• Class size: 25

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• At least 2 years’ related teaching experience
• Excellent English communicative skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 35,000 RMB before tax
