We are looking for a Music Teacher for an international  school in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting ASAP.

 

About the school

The school is a private international language school which is located in Guangzhou. It provides curricula from preschool to Grade 12, which including Chinese national curriculum (nine-year compulsory education) and as an IBO authorized school, international curricula which consist of IB PYP & MYP) and American high school program (with Cognia Accreditation) are provided independently.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of music course to primary and middle school students utilizing the PYP and MYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

 

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
  • Excellent communications skills

 

Salary and benefits

  • Base monthly salary range of 28,000 to 35,000 RMB and is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
