Primary Homeroom Teacher

We are looking for a Homeroom Teacher for a Primary School based in Suzhou. This is a full-time position starting from August 2024.

About the school

The educational institution is situated in the center of Xiangcheng area Suzhou. It occupies a total area of 100,000 square meters and has a construction area of over 130,000 square meters. This school comprises of an early education center, kindergarten, primary school, middle school and international high school sections. It provides a combined domestic curriculum with international IB and A level courses to meet the academic needs of the students. 

Job details

• Undertake homeroom responsibilities and manage the class according to school schedule
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Working hours: 6 UOI lessons, 4 ESL lessons, 1 CLIL lesson (40 minutes per lesson)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above
• At least 2 years' teaching experience
• Experience in IB school
• TEFL/TESOL/CETTA
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Montly salary of 20,000 to 25,000 RMB depending on qualifications and experience
