Working in CLO3D, the primary responsibility of this role will be to create 3D garments that accurately replicate the fit of production garments. The 3D design and fit technician will be tasked with validating grade rules for sampled garments, using a physical sample in the core size to evaluate correct expression of fit across the full size range. This technician plays a crucial role in the production process, as grading MUST be validated to accurate spec in 3D before the garment goes into production.

Requirements
- Fluent in English, with experience communicating information and fit corrections between overseas factories and internal technical design teams
- 2.5+ years working in CLO3D and expert knowledge of software
- 3+ years experience in technical design/patternmaking
- Knowledge of Alvanon mannequins and 3D avatars
- Expert knowledge of tech packs & grade rules
- Full proficiency in Microsoft & Adobe programs
- Proven ability to work under demanding deadlines and prioritize time-sensitive material
- Preferred but not required:

Experience working in 3D intimates/swim/activewear
Working knowledge of Optitex (for patternmaking only)
Knowledge of GSA process

Responsibilities:
- Using provided tech pack and patterns, fit 3D garments across a full size set on our client’s digital avatars, ensuring correct expression of fit across all sizes
- Identify fit discrepancies between sizes and communicate grading issues between overseas factory and US office
- Become fluent in client’s PLM system; format and upload 3D grading evaluations to their platform for approval
- Complete client’s 3D artist accreditation program and Graded Size Approval Certification program
