We are looking for an Business and Accounting Teacher for an international school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in 2023.


About the school

An international school, which was founded five years ago, is situated in the middle of the Huangpu district of Shanghai. It provides bilingual teaching to students from first grade to the 12th grade of elementary, middle and high school. The school follows the Chinese national curriculum and has elements from the British IGCSE and A levels curriculums to meet the academic needs of its students. 


Job details

  • Teach the school’s  Business and Accounting  courses to middle and high school students aging 11-18
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in  Business and Accounting or related subjects
  • More than 2 years’ related teaching experience
  • Hold a teaching qualification
  • Experience of A-Level or IGCSE students
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Passionate and Energetic in teaching

 

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly Salary of 22,000 to 29,000 RMB before tax
