University English Teacher

We are looking for an English teacher for a university based in Chongqing for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Job details

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to university students, following the school's established English curriculum and academic objectives
• Teach a total of 14–18 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no office hours required
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with course requirements and student levels
• Foster a positive and immersive English learning environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and language development
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, presentations, and exams, and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement
• Participate in occasional department meetings, student activities, or cultural exchange events if needed
• Support students’ academic growth by offering guidance on English usage in academic and real-world contexts

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Excellent English communicative skills
  
• Hold  a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA teaching certificate
• Related working experience preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 10,000 to 13,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly salary varies according to academic qualification and position which can be negotiated in person
