In 2002, the predecessor of the e-commerce college of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Tianfu College was founded as the Education reform experimental base of SWUFE, located in China’s Science and Technology City (Mianyang).In 2006, Tianfu College firmly seized the opportunity of the reform and development of higher education, applied to the Ministry of Education for the transformation into an independent college, and was approved by the Ministry of Education, officially establishing Tianfu College of SWUFE. In 2011, the East and West Campuses in Chengdu, located in the economic city of Longtan, Chengdu, were put in use. In November of 2018, the Deyang Campus located in Luojiang, Deyang was officially opened. At present, Tianfu College covers a total area of more than 140 hectare. There are more than 60 undergraduate courses and special course majors covering 7 subjects including economics, management, engineering, literature, art, law and medicine. There are 8 secondary colleges including accounting, intelligent finance, intelligent science and technology, architecture and engineering, modern service management, art design, health and nursing, and international education. There are more than 23,000 students and 1,200 teaching and administrative staff.
