Science Teacher

We are looking for a Science Teacher for a bilingual school based in Beijing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

The Shunyi campus in Beijing offers a bilingual, internationally minded learning environment with a strong IB focus, designed to help students think independently, collaborate confidently, and engage with the world beyond the classroom. With a community that brings together both Chinese and international educators, the school emphasizes global perspectives, inquiry-led learning, and strong pastoral support, while maintaining high academic expectations. It serves nearly 2,000 students and has around 400 faculty made up of both domestic and international teachers.

About the role

Inspire students to explore scientific concepts and real-world questions through inquiry, investigation, and critical thinking, building strong foundations for future learning.

Job details

• Teach the MYP Science curriculum through engaging, inquiry-based lessons and practical experiments
• Guide students in developing scientific skills such as planning investigations, collecting data, and drawing evidence-based conclusions
• Differentiate instruction to support a range of abilities and learning needs
• Assess learning regularly, provide timely feedback, and track student progress against clear goals
• Maintain a safe, well-managed laboratory environment and ensure proper use of equipment and materials
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units, projects, and school-wide exhibitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or related field
• Experience teaching MYP Science or equivalent international curriculum
• Passion for hands-on, project-based learning and fostering creativity

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 30,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
