We are looking for an English Literature Teacher for a High School based in Xian starting with the upcoming 2025/2026 academic year.


Responsibilities

The school seeks an experienced High School English Literature Teacher to teach and inspire students in Grades 10–12, with strong practice in literature, writing, and critical reading. 

  • Teach English Literature (~20 classes/week).
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons; assess and report progress.
  • Build analysis, argumentation, and research skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, exams, and moderation.
  • Support students through office hours/advisory/clubs as assigned.


Candidate Requirements

  • Certified/notarized Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field
  • Certified/notarized TESOL/TESL/TEFL
  • Certified/notarized non-criminal record
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience


Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly salary of 20,000 to 22,000 RMB
  • Full pay during Chinese public holidays
