University English Teacher

We are looking for English teachers for a University based in Nanchang. This is a full-time position starting March, 2022.

Teaching subjects available:

1. Fundamentals of Oral Communication: The course gives attention to the communication in interpersonal relationships, group interactions, and formal speaking.
   
   
2. Critical thinking: This course prepares students for college-level intellectual work by introducing them to the skills and methods used in critical thinking. To enable them to determine the premises of an argument and to discern the difference between valid and invalid arguments, students learn the principals of logic and persuasive techniques. They also develop the ability to recognize and respond to generalizations and the evidence for those generalizations. The goal is to help them recognize and then employ a variety of reasoned approaches in formulating their own arguments in the classroom and beyond.
   
   
3. Academic Writing in English: This course introduces basics of successful academic writing to non-native English students.

Working schedule and details

• Students: 1st & 2nd Year College Students
• Not more than 15 classes a week (40 minutes per class)

Requirements

• Native English speaker
• Master's degree or above
• Major in Literature, philosophy, history or other related fields
• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate or equivalent preferred
• 2 years or more teaching experience preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 15,000 to 18,000 RMB
