University Finance Teacher

We are looking for a Finance Teacher to join a University in Xiamen. This full-time position will commence in August 2023, at the start of the upcoming academic year.

Finance subject courses

As the Finance teacher, you’ll teach subjects such as Intermediate Financial Management, Advanced Financial Management, Management Accounting, Corporate Governance, Cost Accounting, Econometric Analysis and Advanced Financial Accounting.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Conducting classes for students according to the designated teaching schedule and office hours
• Developing a comprehensive teaching syllabus with weekly lesson plans that align with the program's requirements and diligently preparing for each class
• Monitoring student attendance, classroom engagement, and learning outcomes
• Actively seeking ways to enhance teaching methods, attending open classes to review the performance of other teachers as required
• Creating homework assignments and test papers, overseeing examinations, and grading assignments and tests in compliance with program regulations
• Participating in regular teaching meetings, typically held monthly or as per notification
• Timely submission of various teaching-related documents in accordance with program regulations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in financing, accounting, economics or other relevant field of studies
• 3 years' college teaching experience or above
• Excellent in English communication
