University English Teacher

We are looking for English Teachers for a University in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in September 2025.

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for teaching English language courses in the assigned department according to the school's teaching schedule for each semester
• Teach English at the Intermediate/Advanced Level in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Asses and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Approx. 20 teaching periods a week

Job requirements

• Master's degree or above in English or related fields of education
• Preference given to candidates with previous experience in English teaching, particularly those who have taught in China
• Excellent communications skills
