  1. Lead toxicology function in DPU Provides 3 strategic and hands-on leadership relating to toxicology to address pre-clinical and IND-related issues for small molecule candidate compounds;

  2. Participate in IND efforts Independently conducts TX analysis during late stage lead optimization through early pre-clinical development and collaborates in PK/PD study design to support clinical dose setting.

  3. Support team with scientific insights，Provides leadership to enable project teams to make maximally informative decisions regarding selection of discovery compounds for pre-clinical development.

  4. Strengthen toxicology R&D capability Formulates and executes research goals; recommends designs and/or executes experiments utilizing a wide variety of scientific principles and novel methods to solve challenging scientific problems across multiple projects.


Requirements:

  1. Degree: Doctoral degree in a field related to industrial toxicology/pharmacology and 4-8 years of relevant experience; or MS/MA with 8-14+ or BS/BA with 14-20 years of experience.

  2. Work experience: Supervisory experience is highly preferred. Experience in leading toxicology function of drug discovery/IND program is highly preferred. Deep understanding of the evolving regulatory requirements for small molecule drugs in China US EU Asia etc.

  3. Abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities studies external CROs staff and budgets are highly preferred. Prior start-up or small company experience preferred.
