As the Sales Support Executive you will support the Business Development Managers (BD Managers) in Dragon Trail’s Beijing office to identify and close business opportunities. The Sales Support Executive should strive every day to improve the productivity of the BD Team so that it can focus as much as possible on new business development and sales. Your daily work will include research to support BD Manager proposals liaison between the BD Managers and other Dragon Trail teams (social media; tech development; account management) and management of Dragon Trail’s overseas representatives. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in social media technology and travel who can work independently to help the BDM team to create long term value for Dragon Trail. Professional level English language skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and write reports on potential clients the Chinese digital landscape and tourism industry
• Ongoing research to identify potential clients and competitors
• Assist in the presentation of customized client proposals and presentations
• Manage relationships with Dragon Trail’s overseas representatives including briefings on China market trends assisting them on client proposals and identifying new partner opportunities
• Manage events calendar and event participation for BD Managers
• Maintain the client management system and run associated reports
• Manage internal meetings schedule and follow up actions
Skills & Requirements:
• Very good communication skills written and oral in Chinese as well as in English. Professional level English language skills are essential
• Strong research skills and the ability to synthesis complex information into concise analytical reports for the BD team
• Ability to work independently and creatively with minimal supervision
• Must be comfortable to work as a team and in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience in travel/digital marketing/advertising business highly advantageous or demonstrated interest in these sectors
• Strong computer skills and expertise with Microsoft Office " particularly Excel and PowerPoint""
