Sales Director

The purpose of this position is to assist in the development of the strategy for, and to actively manage and develop the relationship with retail or luxury retail brands. This includes assisting in the planning of sales initiatives, and directly leading and managing the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives in order to meet the company targets regarding growth and profitability.

Job Description
  • Manages multiple related teams and development, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources; executes department business plans.
  • Development of and delivering on the local Sales & Marketing strategy
  • Establish and maintain executive level relationships to drive high value discussions in major functional areas of the customer organization. Utilize the relationships to develop strong revenue growth initiatives for all products as well as retain our existing business within the account.
  • Follow and execute a structured solution sales process for revenue growth and prospecting. Able to uncover new revenue opportunities within an account based on the understanding of the works flows and strategies being deployed within the accounts.
  • Develop knowledge and thorough understanding of all products and services, and apply knowledge to provide appropriate recommendations/solutions that meets business requirements.
  • Leverage the China Business Culture to achieve new revenue growth targets and maximize retention capabilities within accounts.
  • Introduce new products and services with the accounts. Generate and deliver compelling sales proposals to customers.
  • Observation and understanding of customer workflows and processes, tailor solutions to enhance overall Insight value to customer organization.
  • Manage exiting local Channel Partners/Industry Partnerships as well as develop future international Partner strategy to drive sales for the specific business line
  • New business generation will be a must in this role.
  • Impacts the business results by setting priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and plans
  • The ability to generate and identify potential customers as well as understand the customers workflow to identify a client's needs will be essential
  • Manage renewal sales process for existing customer base, including setting of expectations, changing needs assessments, negotiating contracts and processing of contracts via relevant internal systems

Skills/Personal Profile
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, MBA is plus
  • 10 years + experience in Sales Management & in luxury retail brands related business is required.
  • Proven and successful track record of developing and implementing sales strategies, Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in retail market.
  • Professional with strong planning and mature analytical skills
  • Understanding of both Western and Chinese culture
  • Experience in consulting sales is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with customer and internal organization verbally and written is essential.
