We are seeking a Vice Head of Primary School to join the senior leadership team at an international school in Chengdu for the 2025-26 school year.

 

About the school

Located in a modern, high-tech district of southwest Chengdu, this spacious and well-equipped campus offers both international and bilingual curricula, serving students from Pre-K through Grade 11, with plans to expand to Grade 12. The area is known for its green spaces, easy access to the airport, and proximity to Chengdu’s rich cultural and culinary heritage, providing a vibrant and dynamic environment for both students and staff.

 

About the role

We are seeking a Vice Head of Primary Division to join the senior leadership team at an international school in Chengdu. This role focuses on developing early-learning programs, supporting child development, managing student behavior, and fostering social integration. The position includes direct supervision of early education teachers, teaching fellows, and the dean of early education.

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, Master's preferred in Education, Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, Primary Education
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in an early childhood school environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrated strength in administrative experience.
