Primary School Teacher

We are looking for a full-time PYP Primary School Teacher for a school located in Yiwu. This position entails joining the faculty for the upcoming academic year, commencing in August 2025.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PYP Teacher to lead the effective implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP). This role blends leadership, curriculum development, and teaching expertise to ensure high-quality learning outcomes and alignment with IB standards.

• Lead the planning and delivery of the IBPYP curriculum across grade levels
• Act as the primary liaison with the IB organization
• Align programme delivery with the school’s academic vision and goals
• Support curriculum review and development in line with IB requirements
• Coordinate programme documentation, assessments, and examination schedules
• Mentor and support teaching staff in IB methodology and assessment practices
• Organize and deliver internal professional development workshops
• Promote inquiry-based instruction and the IB Learner Profile
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Represent the IBPYP programme at school events and with external partners
• Collaborate with other IB schools to exchange resources and best practices

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, including at least 1 year in an IBPYP setting
• Proven experience in curriculum development or programme coordination

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 60,000 to 76,000 CAD commensurate with experience (salaries paid in CAD or USD to your home country bank account)
