Primary School English Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School English Teacher for a private school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.

Founded in 2017, this private primary school in Pudong New Area serves over 500 students from Grades 1 to 5, with plans to expand into junior high. It offers a blend of national and innovative curricula, fostering lifelong learning. The diverse teaching team includes experienced educators with international backgrounds. The campus features modern classrooms, sports facilities, and creative learning spaces, providing a well-rounded education.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to primary school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance is 5,000 RMB or free accomodation
