Primary School English Teacher

We are looking for a Primary English (EAL) Teacher for an International School based in Ningbo. This is a full-time position starting from August, 2023.

Top international school based in Ningbo’s Sanjiangkou area. The school has kindergarten and a primary division where it integrates China’s national curriculum an IB curriculum concepts to meet educational needs for all students and promote a strong international outlook.  

Job details

• To maximize student learning and development through the planning, preparation and teaching of programmes to meet students’ individual learning needs and achieve specific outcomes
  
• To teach a range of student abilities and classes and are accountable for the effective delivery of their programmes
• To provide support for pupils with special educational needs
  
• To ensure that the pupils can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other children in the class and make progress
  
• To run specific programmes and activities to assist the pupils’ individual learning and social needs
  
• Be responsible for implementing the targets on the pupils’ Individual Education Plan (IEP) in liaison with the HR teachers

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above 
• Plan and priorities tasks and work under the pressure of a busy inclusive primary school
  
• Be productive and show initiative
• Have experience of working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting
• Have knowledge and understanding of the different social, cultural and physical needs of pupils.
