Primary School English ESL Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School English ESL Teacher for an international boarding school located in Changshu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

About the school

Situated in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, the international school is only 40 minutes away from the city of Suzhou. It is part of a larger Education Group that owns numerous international boarding schools across Eastern China. This particular school offers a mix of international curricula to students in kindergarten, primary, and middle school. There are presently around 50 international educators - including those working in kindergartens, primary, and middle schools - from countries around the world employed at the school.

Job responsibilities

• Design suitable and interesting class content for Primary school students that fulfill the teaching assignment in line with teaching requirements
• Cooperate with co-teachers to carry out your classroom work
• Engage in communication with parents
• Actively participate in school activities, collaborate with the other international, local teachers and other colleagues
• Working from Monday to Friday with up to 20 classes a week (35 mins a class)

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• TEFL, ESL, TESOL certificate holder is a plus
• At least 2-year teaching experience, relevant work experience in international schools is preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
• Have positive attitude; get well with others; prefer to be full of invention

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax depending on experience and qualifications
