Physical Education Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education Teacher for a bilingual school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

A bilingual school, which was founded five years ago, is situated in Huangpu and Pudong district of Shanghai. It provides bilingual teaching to students from first grade to the 12th grade of elementary, middle and high school. The school follows the Chinese national curriculum and has elements from the British IGCSE and A levels curriculums to meet the academic needs of its students.

Job details

• Teach the subject of physical education to students in Primary education ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in sports or relevant subject major
• More than 1-year relevant teaching experience
• Hold a teaching qualification preferred
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 22,000 to 29,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
