Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for an international High School based in Nanchang. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to High school students with the provided a US curriculum as guide and framework
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, record appropriate records and prepare progress reports
• Communicate with parents
• Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers
• Participate in curriculum and professional development sessions
• Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of school location

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 120-hour TEFL certificate or above
• Able to obtain a clear criminal background
• At least 2 years of mathematics teaching experience

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 23,000 to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
