Business and Economics Teacher

We are looking for a Business Studies and Economics Teacher for an International School based in Chongqing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job details

• Teach the school’s Business and Economics subjects to high school students age from 13 to 18
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaborate with co-teachers to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Economics
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching with IGCSE or A-Level curriculum
• A TESOL/TESL/TEFL qualification and PGCE or PGCEI is highly desirable
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
