High School Art Teacher

We are looking for an Art subject teacher for an International School based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from September 2022.

Job details

• Teach the school’s art curriculum to high schools students and ensure high quality learning
• Take part in the developing and reviewing of school curriculum
• Create, design, maintain, and frequently update an active, supportive classroom environment that meets school standards and requirements
• Maintain close communication with other subject teachers, homeroom teachers and participate in related teaching or other activities
• Assess and report on students’ learning according to school requirements
• Participate in, create, implement and attend subject related activities after school or outside of class period
• Participate in or organize learning in curriculum-related tasks or projects, such as graduation projects, field trips or school camps, etc.
• Participate in collaborative planning to develop high-quality units, including transdisciplinary units, interdisciplinary units or module units
• Fulfil assigned duties according to school requirements
• Implement school-wide student behavior management policy process

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching
• Professional development certifications in related field which includes but is not limited to IB Training Certificates
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Basic technology skills or computer skills
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 35,000 RMB
