Head of Mathematics

We are looking for a Head of Mathematics for an International School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

The group has more than 20 campuses across China with Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School departments.

 Job details

• Teach the school’s mathematics subject to school secondary students aging from 11 to 18 years old
• Develop, review, and update the math curriculum to align with state/national standards and school objectives.
• Guide teaching strategies, integrate technology, and ensure effective pedagogy across grade levels.
• Mentor math teachers, conduct evaluations, organize professional development, and manage departmental staffing.
• Monitor assessment data, identify trends, and implement interventions to improve outcomes.
• Work with administrators, parents, and stakeholders to address concerns and enhance program visibility.
• Oversee the department budget, textbooks, and educational tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in education or subject related field
• Teaching experience at international schools in the relevant subject
• Excellent English communication skills
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 22,000 to 34,000 RMB after tax commensurate with experience and overall qualifications
• Monthly leadership allowance of 2,000 RMB
• Monthly housing allowance is 8,000 RMB
