English and Art Teacher

We are looking for an English (ESL) and Art Teacher for a Primary School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job responsibilities

• Working with colleagues in supporting the delivery of English in a bilingual learning environment to students in Grades 1 to 5
• Responsible for another part of the art expansion course
• To prepare relevant lesson plans and course/subject materials.
• To conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual learners, course and the curriculum, keeping attendance records and maintaining student discipline.
• To provide accurate and timely formative assessment and feedback to learners, and maintain assessment records, including tracking and reporting of learner progress in line with school policy.
• To provide active support to individual learners

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• More than 3 years working experience in teaching English to primary school students
• Teaching experience related to art is preferred
• Eligible for the work visa application for English Teacher

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB before tax commensurate with experience and overall qualifications
