English Literature and History Teacher

We are looking for an English Literature Teacher for an International High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible or with the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job details

• Teach the English literature and history subjects to high school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching
• Hold a teaching certificate
• Excellent English communication skills
  

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly Housing allowance of 5,500 RMB 
• Flight allowance of 12,000 RMB pre year
